How do I delete names in the Broadcom wireless utility monitor?

You should already have Wireless Networking software that was included with your Computers Softwares And Updates section at the Computers manufacturer website located in the Softwares and Drivers section . You will need to know your Computers Model and Serial #'s to type in to recieve the access for your updates . Install all updates starting from the year the Computer was manufactured to the latest . Also the Windows SP2 and SP3 will have the Wireless softwares that are required . Check at microsoft.com for those >> http://www.microsoft.com/en/us/default.aspx put your cursor over "Security & Updates" click "Microsoft Updates" The scan will finish and select "Custom" . Then select the Updates or all Updates to install and install them . Manualy checking for updates are far more reliable than relying on auto alerts . They can fail to alert you . Once you have installed all the available updates from your Computers website and Microsoft , you should be set for Wireless Networking .The Broadcom Wireless Utility was probably added without your permission somehow and will over ride the correct softwares . Remove "Broadcom Wireless Utility" in [Add/Remove Programs] .
I saw this Utility one time and have no idea how I installed it . Once deleted/Removed , the other SSID names you are asking about will delete as well . The correct Wireless card will be named "Broadcom 802.11 Wireless LAN Adapter" or something like >>> not "Broadcom Wireless Utility Monitor " . Also , contact your Routers' manufacturer through its Live Chat feature with an expert and ask them to help you secure your Router . You will need asecure WEP Key like "WPA2 Personal" using a 13 Digit "Shared Key" using either > 13 Lower case letters with numbers -or- 13 Upper case letters with numbers . Build at least a 16 digit password for the Router . This password will be needed to access your Router online to make or confirm settings of the Router at any time . The Strong Password , Strong Shared Key will greatly secure your Router . A simple SSID is all that is necessary . Even "Yahoo1" could work . SSID's do not need to be a lot of letters and numbers etc. . The SSID's only need be changed from its defaut name whic is common and hackable .
