Can an Indesit K3E11/G cooker be connected to a 3 pin plug would it be safe?
Purchased recently I was told this information was correct when sold, but I'm not sure!
If your cooker is 240 v then it is perfectly safe to connect to a 3 pin plug as opposed to being "hard wired".
However,the cable you use from the cooker to the plug needs to comply with the duty level.When hard wired,30 amp fixed wiring cable is used.
If you are using fixed wiring cable to a 3 pin plug then it is recommended that the plug is left static.
If you do choose to wire to plug,then you still need to be connecting to a 30 amp cooker point socket.

Pin Gages And What They Do
