Today was my wife's 3rd in america and she feels uncomfortable when i took her to the mall, how can i help her?
I took her clothes shopping and she is 22 years old and I took her into the Junior section because of how skinny she was, she would look good in skinny or flare jeans. I bought her things that i see other girls wear like a purse, high heel pumps and wedges and dresses and shirts. She really liked the clothing and the shoes she says, she wouldn't imagine owning that if she still lived in vietnam. But she felt uncomfortable with the rap music playing the background, the rap song was a new song I think it was Not Afraidby america's controversial rapper Eminem, she says she feels scared. Does anyone have any ideas and tips to let her feel comfortable. I'm 3 years older than her but I love her a lot, she is a perfect wife.
She just needs time to adjust to a new culture. If she wants to be comfortable, eventually she will be. If she decides she hates it and isn't going to try to like it, she's going to continue to hate it.
Talk to her and let her know that she'll like it eventually if she gives it a chance. She just needs time. But she does need to be open to new experiences.
